On Wednesday 9th April (that's just 2 days away!) my lip glosses and nail polishes will have their own little stand in 200 Superdrug stores across the UK! I am so excited and am incredibly thankful to have so many of you supporting me with excited tweets everyday about it. Lot's of you are asking which stores my line will be going in to so here is the full list! If you go and get a lip gloss or a nail polish from a Superdrug store on the 9th (or any day after that), be sure to take a selfie with my stand and tweet it to me with the hashtag #TanyaBurrInSuperdrug - I will be stalking the hashtag and retweeting lots of your pics! :)
I am a huge Emma Watson fan, primarily due to my love for Harry Potter over the last 10 or so years! When I received an invite to the premiere of her new film, Noah, I was extremely excited. The chance to see Emma's hair, makeup and outfit up close, in person, on the red carpet?! Yes please! Sadly, Emma was so busy signing autographs and doing interviews that I didn't actually get to see her. However, I really enjoyed watching her in the film. I was about to tell you my favourite scene where she particularly shines, but that would give away the story too much so you will just have to go and see it yourselves. It's an incredible film, epic, spiritual and dark at times.
I am currently sitting in bed with my Teen Wolf hoody and my rabbit slipper booties on. It's so cold in the UK! I flew in from Florida this morning and am feeling quite exhausted and jet-lagged. However, I did manage to go out to makeup-artist's Lou Teasdale's book launch this evening and ended up having a drink with none other than Harry Styles! (Lou is Harry's makeup artist incase you're wondering what he was doing at a makeup book launch!) So it has been a pretty good first day back in London. Today I have another Florida outfit post for you. Oasis actually asked if they could commission a post and let me pick a few pieces from their new collection! I got so excited and had to refrain from being greedy and asking for 10 different items as everything is so pretty and perfect for spring/summer. I ended up picking a gorgeous coral faux leather skater skirt as I fell in love with the colour and texture, an oriental style vest with scallop detailing and a pair of white leather slippers. You can click here to go to the Oasis website and have a mosey around their new collection.
Leave me a comment letting me know what your spring/summer fashion essentials are! I love bright colours as you can probably tell :)
For the past few days I have been in sunny Florida for the YouTube convention Playlist Live. It's a huge event where lots of YouTube fanatics, viewers and YouTubers gather for a weekend of fun! I had an incredible time meeting so many of my viewers and also seeing lots of my friends who are YouTubers from other countries, which was lovely as I don't get to see them very often. Yesterday was meet up day and I met so many sweet girls (and a few boys!) who watch my videos and read my blog. I always find meet ups incredibly heartwarming and touching and yesterday was a particularly lovely one, it was also so much fun as I did it with my friends Zoe and Louise - we had music and got everyone to sing along to the Frozen soundtrack! Here are a few photos of me meeting people and also an outfit snap of what I wore.
I just had the best weekend. Our friends Niomi & Marcus came to stay with us in Norwich and we had such a lovely time. I totally forgot to take photos on my nice camera, but I took a few snaps on my phone that I thought I would share with you guys. It was the warmest and sunniest weekend of the year so far and we made the most of it by walking into town for a stroll around the shops. It felt so good to wear sunglasses and soak up some sunshine! I was excited to show Marcus & Niomi around and took them to my favourite lunch spot, No 33. I had the most delicious tuna salad, if you ever find yourself in Norwich, No33 is a must - and you'll probably find me in there! Sunday was another beautiful day so we had a BBQ - if you live in a hot country you'll probably think we are crazy as it's still quite chilly, but in the UK we rarely get nice weather so we have to seize it when it comes and being able to eat outside is a real novelty! Niomi & I made Quinoa salad and the boys did the barbecue. I also attempted to make my friend Dani's healthy Millionaire Shortbread recipe (it's made with lots of strange ingredients like Coconut Palm Sugar & Buckwheat Flour to replace all the typical bad for you ingredients) it tasted amazing even though it didn't look very pretty! The recipe will be up on her blog soon. Later that evening we did face masks and watched The Vampire Diaries. The perfect weekend in my books!
