So let's face it, I have never been the most regular blogger! Youtuber, yes, but blogging...well, blogging I just never seem to find the time to do! I am going to try and post at least once a week on here though :) I thought I would do a little update post today and just share with you what I've been up to, it's been a busy couple of weeks...
Jim and I went to The Lone Ranger premiere, it was SO much fun meeting loads of you who were waiting out to spy Johnny Depp, it felt so surreal to be on the red carpet with him! The film was so tense, but in a fun way, not scary! So I loved it.

Then it was time for us to fly to LA! Every year we attend the YouTube convention called Vidcon. Vidcon is organised by Hank & John Green and it's the largest gathering of online video viewers, creators and industry representatives worldwide. For me, as a YouTuber, it is such an incredible experience to be able to meet so many of you guys and also hang out with my YouTube friends from across the pond!
I couldn't find a pic with all my youtube friends in it, but this one is pretty cool :)
I found this on Tumblr, someone had made it out of stills from one of Joey's vlogs. This is us saying goodbye on our last day :(
Jim and I also spent some more time in LA around Vidcon as we had various meetings and work to do. We were shooting for DailyMix, which is a YouTube channel we have shows on along with a few other YouTubers. We shot at the coolest location, the Warner Bros Studios! I was so excited/nervous because I knew (from stalking them relentlessly) that the Pretty Little Liars cast were shooting there that day. I follow them all on twitter/instagram etc. and am just a little bit obsessed! Little did I know, the DailyMix crew were planning to film taking me around the PLL set! I got to see them shoot a scene and even meet the girls, it was so amazing, I was totally starstruck. They were all so lovely, unfortunately I couldn't take a photo with them as they were dressed for the shoot and it was all top secret.
Here I am in Spencer's kitchen on the set of Pretty Little Liars!
Also whilst in LA, Benny and Rafi (the brothers behind The Fine Bros) asked me to appear on one of their YouTube shows! I have filmed with them before, but never for something as huge as "YouTubers React". I had wanted to do it for so long as I have been a fan of their videos for years! I particularly love their "Kids React" videos. I reacted to 3 videos and the first (reacting to the video of Best Song Ever) is out, it already has 2 million views! You can click here to watch it.
With Benny & Rafi
I found this still from the video on Tumblr and thought it was funny!
Saying Goodbye to the Hollywood Hills
After LA, I had a few days at home to work on my YouTube channel etc. and recover from the jet lag, then I was off to London! This week in London has been hectic so far and is only going to get more so! When I first arrived I had 5 mins to myself in my hotel room before stylists Jane and Electra (you might know Electra from my instagram, she is so lovely!) turned up for my fitting. I was shooting for Very's YouTube channel on Friday so they needed to find me 6 dresses for the day as there were lots of outfit changes! I think I tried on about 100 dresses in an hour! The next morning I was up bright and early for a day shooting for DailyMix. We filmed loads of fun videos and ended with one of my celeb style videos, which I can't wait for you guys to see. Celeb Style is where I make over one of my subscribers in the style of a celeb! I think a lot of my new subscribers don't know that being a makeup artist was actually what I did full time for 3 years before my YouTube career took off. I never really label myself as a makeup artist anymore, as to be honest I rarely work as one, I'm so busy with what I'm doing at the momentand loving it! I obviously still do makeup tutorials on my beauty channel though and do other people's makeup on camera :)
My pro makeup kit (the one I use just for working on other people like for my Celeb Style videos on DailyMix, I obviously have my own makeup collection at home and I have a video of that on my YouTube channel) - I reorganised it recently and am loving how tidy it looks!
The next day, Friday, I was up bright and early again, but this time to go and work for Very! Electra and I are hosting some videos on the Very channel all about Celebrity fashion and beauty. It was a hectic 12 hour shoot and super fast-paced. I managed to take a few snaps throughout the day of my outfits and the studio though so here they are! (All dresses are from Very)
On Saturday (yesterday), it was the UK's turn to have it's Vidcon! In the UK, this convention is called Summer In The City and is held at Alexandra Palace. I had the BEST time meeting so many of you guys yesterday.
Meet up at Summer In The City.
Now it is Sunday! This morning Jim and I went for breakfast together, because as you can imagine, we haven't had much time to catch up the last few days and both our schedule's are hectic for next week. We're not heading home to Norwich until Wednesday!
For breakfast we headed to Balthazar, it is one of my all time favourite restaurants, but I'd never eaten breakfast there. It was so yummy I will definitely be going again!
A couple of weeks ago I was looking back through lots of my old photos and found a bunch from when I went traveling, so I thought I would share them with you guys! About 3 years ago, Jim and I decided we wanted to explore the world, so we headed to our local STA Travel and booked flights to Bangkok, Thailand. I was so nervous as I hadn't traveled much before and we were going to be doing everything on a real budget i.e. sleeper trains, hostels etc. I had heard Bangkok was intense, but nothing could have prepared me for what it was really like! We arrived at Khao San Road (where we were staying) at about 11pm and I felt so disorientated after a 13 hour flight and an hour taxi journey (where I thought I was going to die - taxi drivers in Bangkok drive like maniacs!) It was so busy and hot as we made our way down Khao San Road with big heavy rucksacks on our back looking for a place to stay. I remember feeling a bit anxious, but really excited to embark on our month long journey around Thailand. Turns out it was a life-changing, incredible experience...so here are some of my favourite photos. Sorry some of them aren't the best, I didn't take a very good camera with me!
Waking up in Bangkok, Khao San Road was like a different place first thing in the morning! So quiet! I know I look like such a geek with my stereotypical travelers outfit on!
Inside a shop on Khao San Road
If you go to Bangkok you must visit the temples, with all the gold everywhere they didn't seem real...
We spent 3 days in Bangkok, I wouldn't recommend any more than that as a tourist as it is very intense and I think 3 days is enough time to cover the main attractions like the temples, MBK mall, the floating market, Khao San Road. One tip I would give is don't stay on Khao San Road like we did as it is SO loud at nighttime and also a nightmare to get back to where you are staying at night as the road gets totally packed with tourists, street food stands and people trying to sell you stuff. When we stayed in Bangkok a couple of weeks later we stayed round the corner on Rambuttri Road, which was great. After our 3 days in Bangkok we'd planned to go to Koh Samui (one of Thailand's beautiful islands). We ended up getting trapped there as Koh Samui was experiencing it's worst floods in 10 years. It was quite scary, we were staying in little huts just off the beach and the floods were so bad water was all over the floor in our hut and we had no electric to charge our phones and let our families know that we were safe. Eventually, after about 3 days which felt like forever, we managed to get a flight out and flew back to Bangkok. Here is me looking very happy to be safe back in Bangkok drinking coconut water!
Since the floods were so bad at the islands, we decided to explore Northern Thailand. We got a 16hr sleeper train from Bangkok to Chiang Mai - I have to say, I wouldn't recommend this. It was dirty and uncomfortable with cockroaches everywhere haha, a flight would be much quicker and not much more expensive. Here's a pic of Jim and I on the sleeper train wrapped up in my traveler's bedsheet thing trying to keep the cockroaches away from us!
As the sun came up we arrived in Chiang Mai, I opened the curtains and the view was breathtaking, I could see a jungle and bright blue sunny skies! We were so excited. Here are some of my favourite photos from Chiang Mai...
Making friends with an elephant
On an Thai cooking course
At a butterfly garden
Please excuse my totally unflattering outfit, but here I am on a raft!
We loved Chiang Mai so much, it was so beautiful, the people were so friendly and there was so much to see and do. If you go to Thailand, you have to make the trip up North! Next we headed back down South to the islands as we had heard the weather was a bit better. We arrived at Koh Phi Phi after a lot of traveling and sadly it was still raining hard! We were determined to go out and have fun though...
The next morning we woke up to beautiful sunshine, we couldn't believe it! We explored the surrounding islands by boat and went to Maya Bay (where I think a James Bond film was shot!)
Koh Phi Phi was so amazing and beautiful. Next we headed across to Koh Phangan. This is where the famous Full Moon Parties are held, we went but I didn't rate it. I'm not a massive party animal and I found all the crowds of people drinking lots a bit overwhelming, I don't have any pics of this either as I don't think I took my camera! Here is a cute photo of a Gecko outside my room though :)
Now, I can't remember the exact order of which islands we went to next, so here are my last few photos in no particular order of where I went...
Here is me feeling very poorly (I got tonsillitis) waiting for a bus, I was obviously left to guard everyone's rucksacks! haha
Me and Jim on the beach at night in Koh Samui (we traveled back here at the end of our trip so we could experience the island without the floods!)
Finally, a breathtakingly beautiful sunset in Krabi
I hope you guys have enjoyed looking at some of my favourite photos from my trip to Thailand. We had an amazing time and I would recommend Thailand to everyone, especially if you are backpacking as I think backpacking is definitely the best way to truly experience this place. After a month in Thailand, we flew to Sydney and lived with my cousin for 6 weeks. Let me know if you'd like to see a Sydney blog post! Anyway, I hope you are all having a wonderful weekend, don't forget there are new videos up on both my main channel and my vlog channel! I put up my bedtime routine video including my skincare routine and also a day in the life style vlog of me working and hanging out with friends in London :)
Let me know in the comments if you have ever been backpacking and where you went, or if this post has inspired you to go!
Firstly I just want to say a massive thank you for all your lovely comments on my last blog post which included lots of photos from my holiday to Mykonos. I am so happy that you all enjoyed looking at my pics and finding out a bit about the beautiful Greek island.
So many of you commented saying you would like a more in depth review of the hotel and photos of my room so that is what I am going to do today!
When it comes to booking a holiday, my go-to website is Mr & Mrs Smith. I was recommended this site by my friend Ruth (she writes the blog A Model Recommends). Mr & Mrs Smith handpick the best places to stay all over the world and each time I have booked with them I have been so impressed. They visit every single hotel they recommend on their website to ensure they are only listing the best. They have a whole rage of hotels for different price ranges depending on your budget. If you like luxury, boutique hotels, you will love their website!
After hours of looking at photos and reading reviews I finally booked Bill & Coo in Mykonos (a little Greek island). I went with a group of friends and I can honestly say we all had the time of our lives and are already talking about going back! I just have to state that I am in no way being paid/sponsored to write this review, I just honestly had the best 4 days away ever and want to recommend this hotel and island to the world! We got a very good deal on this hotel as it's not peak season at the moment, but do have seasons in mind if you book as I've been told the prices go up A LOT.
I could gush on for ages about Bill & Coo, but instead I thought I'd let the pictures do the talking.
Each of the rooms are like individual little villas/suites. It felt very private and lovely. To get to our room we had to walk down some little steps by the pool...
The view was incredible. This is still me walking down the steps, that stone building with the white roof you can see below was our room...
Most of the suites have sunloungers outside which is great if you wish to sunbathe in private.
We also had our own jacuzzi hot tub which was amazing to relax in at nighttime and watch the sunset.
Our room was really spacious with a minimalist design.
Housekeeping was excellent, our room was kept spotless the whole time we were there. Please excuse my bikini's hanging to dry!!
The view out of our window...
We spent a lot of time just chilling out by the pool and I have to say the staff made our day times by the pool so happy. They were so accommodating and friendly. I loved that Bill & Coo was so tranquil and luxurious, but the lively town of Mykonos was only a 10 minute walk away. Here are some pics of the pool during the day and night...
Don't ask why, but every time Jim and I go swimming together I find it the funniest thing that I can carry him around because the water takes all his weight!
The view from the pool...
The double sunloungers were soooooo cooooool!
The pool at night.
We had the most delicious cocktails from the bar.
We had dinner out in Mykonos town most nights, but the food in the hotel was exceptional. We ate at the poolside everyday and ordered room service one night. The hotel has a very talented chef who created a menu inspired by Mediterranean cuisine, he uses the freshest ingredients based on the seasonal produce Mykonos has to offer. Here is a pic of our room service...
The cocktail above is a "Mango Bubble"
I am having serious post holiday blues writing this blog post, I had such a magical time and can't wait to go back! Ooooo one more tip, book to have a massage with Masha (the hotel masseuse) - It was quite possibly the most relaxing hour of my life!
Thank you so much to everyone who commented on my last blog post with recommendations of where I should travel to next in Greece, Santorini is now top of my list!
I hope you enjoyed this rather picture heavy post and I will speak to you guys soooooon!
So at the weekend me, Jim and a few friends decided we needed a break. I am always the planner and told everyone we had to go to Mykonos, a little island in Greece. I have always wanted to go to Greece and I'd heard Mykonos was beautiful. I had one of the best long weekends of my life there and although I wasn't vlogging, as it was a total break from work and my hectic London schedule, I thought I would share some of my holiday snaps on my blog with you guys. Most of the pics are of me and Jim (sorry if they are a bit coupley cringy for you haha) as some of our friends don't blog/vlog and are a bit afraid to be put out there to thousands of people, but you might recognise one little face :) Here are some photos, I hope you enjoy them and they don't make you too jealous ;)
We spent a lot of time at our hotel by the pool just relaxing, eating and enjoying the sunshine and beautiful view. We stayed at a hotel called Bill & Coo and it was out of this world amazing, if you'd like a blog post kinda review thing on it then let me know in the comment section of this post.
Jim likes me to carry him round on my back in the pool!
Jim literally photobombing mine and Zoe's very chic pool pic!
The pool at night...
One day we went to an incredible beach bar, Nammos...
It was really lively with loud music so not your most peaceful beach bar, but it was fun! A little tip would be to pick sunloungers away from the bar if you want a more relaxing sunbathe...
The sea was beautiful, the water was so clear and pretty...
Me and my gorgeous Zoe before going out to dinner.

Zoe took a sneaky cute pic when we were wandering around the town at night...
Dress: River Island | Jacket: Karen Millen | Bag: Mulberry
We wandered through the town, which was so gorgeous; little cobbled streets and a mixture of independent Greek shops, designer shops and treasure coves filled with beautiful handmade jewellery. Finally we made it to the port, the view was so pretty, I loved looking at all the little boats...

More pics of the town, I loved it so much...
Outside our room at Bill & Coo on our last night.
Tank Top & Skirt both from H&M
On our final night we went to a really romantic restaurant called Interni, I am a huge fan of garden restaurants and this one felt magical with all the candles and pretty lights.
They made brilliant cocktails...
...and the food was exquisite. I've chosen to show you Jim's mini burgers as I had seabass and it didn't look as cool although it was delicious!
Finally here are some sunset photos :)
We had a magical few days away, I hope you guys enjoyed me sharing some of my favourite photos with you. If you've ever been to Mykonos and loved it as much as I did then let me know in the comments! Also let me know if you'd recommend any other Greek islands as I am eager to explore, I truly fell in love with Greece.
Hope you're all having a good week - I can't believe Christmas is a week away, it's so exciting! I know I've done a room tour on my vlog channel of the Corinthia hotel but I thought I would do a post as well. Sometimes I think it's nice to break up the blog a bit and put some lifestyle posts in the mix and not have solely beauty posts, I don't know about you but I personally love lifestyle posts! It's also great for those of you across the pond to get an idea of what this amazing city has to offer!
So we stayed here last week before we flew off to New York and it is just the most impressive hotel, from the decor to the service. They make you feel so welcome and it was such a comfortable stay and experience. The location is amazing too as it is right by Trafalgar square, making it perfect to pop out and be only footsteps away from anything you could need.
Here are some pictures of the room....
And of the bathroom which was so amazing and luxurious....
Here are the pictures of the hotel in general. The room below is where you have Breakfast and also one of the places where you can get an amazing cocktail by night.
Last of all here is a picture of my fiancé (eek!) with the complimentary chocolates they give you upon arrival. Just in case you didn't know, I got engaged to my boyfriend Jim last week whilst in New York and I thought I should mention it on the blog too! I just want to thank all of you for your incredible well wishes and kind words, it has been overwhelming and so touching to hear all of your congratulatory tweets and comments. We love you guys and it means so much!!
For more information and pictures and other hotels you can check out the Cornithia's website
