I'm sure lots of you have heard of juicing as it is getting more and more popular. At home I have a juicer that Jim bought me for Christmas and I use it regularly. I think adding a green vegetable juice into your day is fantastic habit to have and can really help maintain good skin and just general good health. However, when I am feeling particularly sluggish or I'm breaking out, or I haven't had a very good diet etc, I opt for a juice cleanse. Usually I make the juices myself with my juicer, but this week I'm in London and am super busy so I won't have time to make the juices. Also, my juicer is in Norwich so I placed a juice order this time. Now believe me, I love food and when I embarked upon my first juice cleanse a couple of years ago, the idea of not chewing actual food for 3 days was quite daunting. I never thought I would be able to do it, but I did, and ever since I have been a fan of a 3 day juice cleanse every now and then to give me a boost and make my insides happy! Juice cleanses improve digestion, can clear up your skin, detoxify your system and basically just give you a ton of nutrients. I did this exact juice cleanse from Radiance Cleanse a couple of months ago so even though today is just day 1 for me. I feel like I can tell you about it as I've done it before! The first day is easy, as you're so eager to try all the juices (you have 5 a day, pictured below). On day 2 I often feel like I want to order a pizza, I don't know why! You just have to stay strong and think of all the toxins leaving your body, I think of it as doing my body a favour. Rest is really important during a juice cleanse so I make sure I get 8 hours each night to give my body time to recover and recharge. I also drink plenty of water and peppermint tea too! Oooo and to really treat yourself, try having a bath with Epsom salts - this will work with the juice to help release toxins. I generally find day 3 quite easy as I feel excited that I've almost finished the cleanse and look forward to the feeling of accomplishment. On the day after the cleanse I always wake up feeling amazing and energised, I can't explain the boost a juice cleanse gives you, you just feel fantastic. Also, I find my cravings for bad, sugary foods are no longer there so much. For breakfast the day after the cleanse I usually go for smoked salmon, eggs and avocado. This is a typical breakfast for me. I will write the ingredients of the juices out below as the writing is so small on the bottles it's hard to see in the picture! I'm now drinking my Cashew Milk juice, as you can see in the photo, I like to pour my juices into glasses to drink them unless I'm on the go!

Jim and I are visiting our friend Zoe this weekend. She's just moved to Brighton, right on the seafront with an incredible view. This morning I woke early, opened the window and felt like I was on holiday as I breathed in the sea air - well I guess we kind of are on a mini holiday! The three of us got dressed and ready for the day then headed into town. Sadly Alfie was busy for the day, but Zoe, Jim and I decided we would be the three musketeers and "seek hazardous adventures". (Ok, our adventures might not have been hazardous!) I fell in love with 'The Lanes' and have lots of photos to share with you guys, including Zoe and I buying cupcakes, the pretty jewellery stalls in the narrow lanes and me getting lost in a book shop among dictionaries as I tried to find the fiction! We had a magical day exploring the shops and cafés, then decided to go to the beach just in time for the sunset. One of my highlights of today was having a cuddle with Pippin on the sofa.
Today has been a day of catching up with friends and eating! It's been lovely. Rose and I met at 12 in Notting Hill and went to this amazing organic place called Daylesford Organic. I was being a rubbish blogger and took hardly any photos, but Rose took lots and they will be up on her blog soon so you can find out exactly what was in our salad!! I also didn't take any outfit photos other than a selfie in the bathroom, I will include that anyway, but she will have our outfit pics on her blog too. (Oh and I changed my skirt to jeans in the middle of the day as I was cold - just incase you are wondering why my outfit is different!) We were so excited to catch up, especially as Rose has just returned from her Thailand trip that I needed to hear all about! We had a little shop on Westbourne Grove, then Rose had to go and I went to meet my friend Ruth in Covent Garden. Ruth and I also met through blogging and YouTubing, we've been friends for years now, but don't see each other enough! We had a mosey around the shops and by about 4pm we were both ready for some Afternoon Tea. We went to the Covent Garden Hotel and it was SO. GOOD. Definitely my sugary treat for the week! We actually both went a little crazy from all the tea and sugar. We chatted at 100mph, giggling away, until Ruth realised she was running late for a meeting! I had such a wonderful, relaxed day and feel ready to take on a busy day of work tomorrow. I have some filming to do and a casting for a TV show - wish me luck!
It felt so surreal writing the title of this blog post! I still have to pinch myself to check I'm not dreaming when I think about the fact that I have my own makeup line. It's so exciting.
Today I took some photographs of my lip glosses and did swatches as I think it's really important to see a swatch before purchasing! Some of them look quite different on the lips to how they do in the bottle. I photographed them on my bedside table and also infront of the window so you could see them in different lights. The swatches were taken in daylight. I've also popped a photo below of Jim and I together at my launch party. He has been such an amazing support the whole way. I am wearing 'Picnic In The Park' lip gloss in the photo!
I named all of the nail polishes and the lip glosses after my favourite things in life. For example, having a picnic in a park is one of my favourite things to do in summer time ('Picnic In The Park') and I am obsessed with all films and TV shows involving vampires ('Vampire Kiss'). I designed colours that are my personal favourite to wear, so this collection isn't inspired by one particular season. I would just describe it as the 'classic me collection'. I have been working on the lip gloss and the nail polish for over a year and have been involved every step of the way. You guys know how passionate and picky I am - I couldn't have it any other way! 'Vampire Kiss' was the hardest lip gloss to develop. It took months to get the red colour just right. I'm glad that I was so particular about my products though, as now they are finally here I am so happy with them and I hope you guys love them too!
The colours left to right are: Smile, Dream, Sparkle - Champagne Toast - First Date - Just Peachy - Afternoon Tea - Chic - Picnic In The Park - Aurora - Exotic Island - Let's Travel The World - Heart Skipped A Beat - Vampire Kiss
Today I wanted to share with you guys a list of things that I am aiming to do more of in my life.
1. Breathe deeper - this one may seem silly, but I've been experimenting with meditation in the past year and just remembering to take deep breaths is amazing. It can calm anxiety and relieve stress.
2. Drink more water - I think this one is always on everyone's to-do lists! It's just so good for you.
3. Go outside more - I love being outside and I definitely find myself inside on my laptop too much. On Sunday I ran around the park near me and it felt so good. I want to go for more beach walks and picnics on sunny days, even if it's chilly. So long as it's not raining you can just wrap up warm and take a flask of something hot and delicious :)
4. Stretch and do yoga every day, even for just 5 minutes.
5. Read a book a week.
6. Turn off all electronics an hour before bedtime and just take a bath or read for that hour - this makes you sleep better as your brain isn't trying to process all the tweets and emails you've just read!
7. Tidy my wardrobe once a week - strangely enough I find this clears space in my mind not just my wardrobe!
8. Eat less sugar - I am a lover of sweet things and certainly don't want to give them up any time soon. However, sugar on a daily basis makes me feel sluggish and tired and it's just not good for you. I want to try and have sugary foods just once a week.
9. Dance around my bedroom to music more - this is a bit embarrassing, but every now and then me and Jim will put on our favourite album (right now it's the 1975) and do silly dances around the room whilst we get ready in the morning. It puts me in the best mood and is so uplifting.
10. Don't judge anyone and always be thoughtful and forgiving. I love this quote I tweeted today: 'Everyone you meet is fighting a battle you know nothing about. Be kind. Always.'
I hope you guys enjoyed this post. Let me know in the comments anything that you are aiming to do more of!
