Space NK Beauty Haul

I may or may not have had a little splurge in Space NK over the Easter weekend *insert monkey with hands over eyes emoji here* and I thought I would photograph my purchases and show you guys the things I got.

Hourglass Eyeshadow Palette in Exposure: This is a palette I have had my eyes on for quite some time, but I’ve never ended up buying it in the past as it’s expensive and I wasn’t sure it was worth it. However, after swatching it for the gazillionth time in Space NK at the weekend, I decided to bite the bullet and I am so happy I did! The shadows are incredible quality and feel smooth with plenty of pigment. The colours are devine – I love that when I wear this palette it will feel exciting and different as it’s purple tones, compared to my usual brown tones, but at the same time all the colours are wearable and complement each other. This palette just makes me so happy.

NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer in Custard: As you guys know, this is one of my all time favourite concealers for covering redness and blemishes on my skin (I even use it under my eyes if I’m being lazy and can’t be bothered to use a separate under eye concealer!) but since I have a light tan at the moment, my usual shade Vanilla has been looking a bit pasty on me, so I purchased Custard. If you have never tried this concealer – please do, as it’s unbelievably good! However, if you want a drugstore dupe, it’s pretty similar to Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer.

Laura Mercier Blush in Lotus Pink: I saw this blush on the Laura Mercier counter and fell in love with the colour. It’s a bright, warm pink with a little shimmer and I thought it would be the perfect blush for Spring.

By Terry Ombre Blackstar in Bronze Moon: This was a repurchase as I hadn’t used mine in a while and it had sadly dried up. I saw these sticks on the By Terry counter and remembered how much I used to love using mine as they’re so quick and easy to apply. I literally just scribble this all over my lid and underneath my lower lash line, blend, add mascara and that’s my eye makeup done!

Hourglass Femme Rouge Lipstick in Peace: This might just be my new holy grail lipstick. Yep, I said it. I can’t believe I had never tried the Hourglass lipsticks until now…the texture is so smooth, but not shiny and it leaves my lips feel soft and moisturised. I also found this lipstick to be really long-lasting. Peace is my new favourite everyday colour, but now I want to try all the other colours in the range!

NARS Velvet Matte Lip Pencil in Dragon Girl: I’ve always been a Cruella kind of girl (another red shade from this range), but after trying Dragon Girl at a friends house I’ve been wanting it ever since. I’m so excited that I finally own it, it’s a really bright, beautiful red. I’d describe it as much fresher toned than Cruella, which is has a sort of deepness to it. I can’t wait to wear this with not much on my eyes and really polished looking skin.

Please let me know in the comments if you’ve bought anything exciting recently, also, let me know what you got up to over the Easter weekend! I ate too many creme eggs and had hot crossed buns for breakfast, lunch and dinner. (If you can’t do it at Easter, when can you?!) Anyway, I hope you guys are having a great day!

Love, Tanya
