I just had the best 4 days in Miami. I’m already missing the 30 degree heat and waking up to a sunrise swim in the sea. Waking up to the noise of builders drilling in my kitchen is just not the same! Miami was just as I’d imagined (from the Will Smith song, of course) – a really fun city on a beautiful beach full of beautiful people (who like to party a lot). However, if you, like me, are not the clubbing type, I would still recommend Miami as a holiday destination as the beach is gorgeous, the vibe is really fun and there are some incredible restaurants – I loved Cecconi’s at Soho Beach House and Casa Tua. I stayed at The Edition, which was amazing. It’s a very modern hotel with gorgeous white furniture and it smells divine. As soon as I walked into the lobby I was like ‘OMG THE SMELLLLLLLLLL!’ I’ve stayed at The Edition in London a few times and I’m pretty sure they use the same amazing scent throughout all their hotels. The food was excellent and the staff were all lovely, only thing I would say is it’s a large hotel with 294 rooms and as a lover of small boutique hotels I did miss that element. A hotel highlight for me was definitely drinking from the beautiful copper pineapples they serve cocktails in by the pool.

I hope you guys are all having a great day 🙂

Love, Tanya
